11-10-11 A Sincere Thank You

The Gulf Trace Community would like to thank retiring Directors, Kathy Despota and Tom Prior for their time and service to the Community. Over the past three years, Tom has served as Treasurer and Kathy, as a Director at Large, was the Chair of the Real Estate Committee.

10-28-11 Notice of Annual Meeting 

Residents should have received by mail the Notice of Annual Meeting . The meeting is scheduled to be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the Polish American Club, 4616 Darlington Road.

Please sign and return the proxy which accompanied this notice even if you plan to attend the meeting. Your vote can always be changed at the meeting, if desired. The Proxy should be returned in the enclosed envelope to Coastal Manangemnt, no later than November 8, 2011

09-24-11 Gulf Trace Boulevard Landscape Improvements Continue

The landscape upgrades continue along the boulevard with the installation of bahia grass sod. As recently mandated by the State of Florida, only bahia grass may be placed in community common areas. Resodding has become a necessary as in many sections ground cover is missing and soil is eroding, weeds have over taken other sections. Gulf Trace is the window to our Community and it is important to all of us that the Gulf Trace corridor reflect the quality of our Community.

08-18-11 Community Ponds

Please help to keep the Community Ponds healthy by:

• Asking whomever mows your lawn to blow the clippings back on your lawn, so they don't end up in the ponds.
• Removing  newspapers and other trash along your curb, so they don't end up in the ponds.
• Maintaining your lawn so that following  a rain lawn chemicals and pesticides in the soil don't run off into the gutter and into the ponds.
• Not damaging pond plants-they use up nutrients.
• Not fishing. The grass eating carp are stocked to help maintain healthy ponds.
