Architectural Request

Approval

Please allow up to thirty days for approval.

A homeowner runs the risk of having an unapproved improvement reversed because it does not meet the Gulf Trace Covenants.

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) has the authority to regulate the use and appearance of the exterior of the lot to assure harmony of external design to the surrounding lots. No exterior additions or alterations may be started until approved in writing by the ACC. These include but are not limited to:

  • Additions or alterations
  • Exterior coloring, the same or a change of color, to house body, trim, door, or roof (tile or shingle)
  • Basketball hoops
  • Security bars, grills, gates, and front entrance enclosures
  • Fences, hedges, walkways and driveway staining
  • Landscaping, tree planting or removal
  • Satellite dishes, place of installation
  • Flag poles, mailboxes and mailbox posts

Your request must include:

  • Nature of the change
  • Location on lot
  • Kind, shape, height
  • Material to be used
  • Color

There is a color book for painting available at the mangement office. Please review the colors before submitting.
